#1. All ages: Toddlers, Kids, Adults!

Play I Spy: All the words are ‘hidden’ (with different levels of difficulty) in the adjacent illustrations.

Play as a group or in pairs.

Word Detective Prompts

Tap the detective icon and answer her questions as a group. She’ll ask about your holidays, favorite activities, and more—perfect for cultural and personal reflection.

Label the Room

Go sticky note crazy! Label home or class rooms with matching dictionary words.

Quiet Corner: Set up headphones + mirror.

Let students explore independently, as a reward or as a calm-down station.

#2. Toddlers & Preschool (Ages 2–5)

Circle Time Touch & Say

Pick a room in the book. Let kids take turns touching and naming what they hear. No pressure if they don’t speak it yet—just enjoy the repetition and rhythm of new words.


I Spy & Draw

Play “I Spy” using hidden objects in the adjacent illustrations. Let kids find something, then draw or label it (or you write it for them).


Speaker Game – Guess the Word!

Use an external speaker. Play a word from the book without showing the page. Let kids guess what it was, then repeat the word together. Make it a class game—divide into teams, tally scores!

Puppet Talk:

Use finger puppets to “speak” words from the dictionary.


Create a Quiet Corner

Set up the book with headphones as a calm-down space or reward center. Kids love this “teacher in a book” moment. It’s quiet, engaging, and independent.


Playful Touch & Hear

Let children explore by touching the book freely—building fine motor skills, sound awareness, and confidence just by playing.

#3. Elementary (Ages 6–10):

Seek & Find Gameplay

Use the 5-level built-in games (50 total!). Kids play solo, in teams, or with the teacher leading. Each level increases in word count and challenge—and the order is always different!


Role Play Real Life

Use vocabulary to act out daily routines: getting dressed, brushing teeth, making the bed. Let them use the book as a script or soundboard!


Sing-Along

Create silly songs/raps to reinforce vocabulary in rhythm!


Food & Culture Project

Find all the food words! Then:

★ Draw or chart the foods

#4. Older Kids (Ages 10+):

Three-Word Story Challenge

Choose 3 random words from the book. Write or tell a story that uses them all. Add drawings or act it out for the class.


Accent Explorer

Touch the same word multiple times. Can they hear the differences in pronunciation? (For example, “water” (bathroom), “vase” (inside))


Comic Strip Creator

Use vocabulary from the book to make a comic—include dialogue, labels, or captions. Great for visual storytelling and comprehension.


Flyswatter Game

Write a bunch of vocab. words on the board. Call out or play one from the book. Students race to swat the matching word. A high-energy favorite!


Cultural Food Presentation

Assign a food word. Research it—What are its origins? How is it made? Draw it, make a recipe card, or even try it in class or at home.


Storytelling Circle

Sit in a circle. Each student taps a word and adds a sentence to a class story. Keep it silly or heartfelt—both build language joy and confidence.
